Last night, I read a few postings that discussed "Time Dilation" or "the Crouch-Echlin effect". This was too tech. for me, but sounded like this TD effect could really play havoc on Pcs and embedded chips AFTER the date change.

In the scheme of things I don't believe "time dilation" is that big a worry. What little I can remember says it primarily affects 286s & 386s with a quite specific configuration.

Y2K is a difficult game of focusing on what's really important to keep the doors open & food on the table. There are plenty of wild & whacky things that will bite us with Y2K... I'd look elsewhere for dragons to slay.
