Datek does allow shorting! I did it successfully after a few attempts. Remember, only on upticks - there were some real backlogs on orders, which does cause some major delays - Datek did remove Ktel from Marginable status for a short while. Eyes on the ticker - fingers on the keyboard. Why worry though, its higher now than when I sold short and I have no regrets - yet! I can still lose a few G after pocketing that much last week shorting.
