no, i'm not a bear. no, i don't have a subscription to barrons. i'm long 7 options, and 45 shares of the stock. for me, that's a lot. i bought these in the 60s, 70s, and now 80s. i sold off other postitions to get this...i caught chunks of lucents run up the last 3 months, but lucent is pausing. i asked about previous p/e ratios because i'm wondering if dell is commanding a higher p/e ratio than days gone by, indicating even more strength. the last 3 weeks have produced a tremendous amount of good news for dell. i'm guessing dell will run to 99, and maybe a pullback to 93 by 5-20, with a strong earnings annoucement causing it to go up over 5 points on earnings day. that's my shot in the dark. jef
