I need to find a troubleshooting site and not use this thread for this. Try the mailing list Mac-L: <http://lists.lyris.net/mac-l/> And just to get you started, use FindFile to search for: Objectsupportlib If you find it, trash it. It's built into OS 8 System file and any left over copies from previous systems will cause all sorts of crashes.

Linda-if you are using OS 8.1, please remember to trash the Object Support Library in your extensions folder. It can cause some of the problems you seem to be describing. The functionality of Obj. Support Libr. was built into the system files of OS 8 & 8.1 so you'll need to manually go in and delete that. Hope it helps... -travis
