OK now you know what an OEM deal is but what could that do for American BioMed?

I would like to expand just a little on the $ potential of the OEM business. Lets take the one deal we are already are aware of with Polamedco for nasopharygeal airway products.

mca1.com

Back when this deal was first announced American BioMed said that it was possible that the company could receive orders to make as many as 300,000 NAPS a year.

biz.yahoo.com

None of us really knows how much the company is paid for each one of these nasopharygeal products. So lets put a hypothetical value of $2 for each individual airway product for American BioMed in terms of revenue. If American BioMed did manufacture 300,000 airway products at $2? each the OEM business from this one contract would mean $600,000? in revenues.

That could be more revenue from a single OEM deal than the company made all of last year.

According to the company's 10K American BioMed is negotiating a very large OEM contract that could be announced soon.

Still lets not discount the catheter business as a growing revenue producer. I think that we will continue to see new distributors signed especially in Europe as the company gains CE Mark status. I believe that American BioMed has a truly competitive catheter line even without the added advantage of the 100% silicone design. Revenues from sales of catheters can grow as well, hopefully really well.

Go ABMI!

Regards, Jeff
