that rationale doesnt work for many...although it is the one I always ask about

the opposite side of the argument is "if I sell it might go higher without me"

btw, Faber on CNBC saying some are not excited about XCIT

XCIT is a perfect reason why after hour trades mean bumpkus! hit 79 afterhours....too bad it didnt make a huge gap so some of you could short it

Reason 1: I don't care to give Uncle Sammy a penny until I have to
Reason 2: If you can guarantee me unequivocally that I can get a better price minus the taxes that I'd have to fork over, I might buy into your trading style. Somehow, I don't think that's a guarantee you or anyone else can make.
Reason 3: Buy and hold has always worked better for me ('nuff said)

SEEK at 31 1/2...
