Poweruser, <<Wasn't the contempt issue void as of the sworn testimony of the several "officials" who claim that TT DID deliver the documents in '92?>> That's what TTRIF IR is spouting but that is not true. Trooper sued for the latest information, Dick Engineering's drawings, and TPP won. The Court ordered this information to be delivered to Trooper. That hasn't happened. The contempt hearing is scheduled for May 21, 1998. The "sworn testimony" is two affidavits, one from Dr. Dan Cumming of TTRIF and the other from an individual of an engineering firm that worked with TTRIF prior to 1993 and now has been awarded the contract for the Richmond plant, hardly coincidental I'm sure. The Court will decide whether or not the information has been delivered and how truthful these two affidavits are. Tom Kinakin

Do you really think that the issue here is the 92 documents?Look at the facts.TPP sued and all the while TT claimed TPP doesn't deserve them.Then TPP wins,while TT claims to have won.TT then appeals??? Would you appeal if you won?? Then TT doesn't give the documents claiming confidential stuff and is then found to be in contempt as per the judge's ruling.(I forgot the name).After that issue is over,TT gives the SAME documents plus one extra sheet claiming again,that's all TPP deserves,EVEN THOUGH THE COURT RULED AGAINST THEM. Now TPP claims and sues for contempt of court and the same judge who issued the first ruling to hand over all documents will now rule on contempt of HIS OWN RULING against TT.Do you think there is room for substantial fines and jail time?? I spoke to some lawyers who tell me,if what I said happened,TT is FINISHED. GO TT.
