Gold forecaster updated: wavechart.com . Short and intermediate term still a sell, but short term may signal a buy tomorrow. The long term is still a buy, but shows a top at 90 XAU.

Richard:

I suspect that taking the short side of the main market is probably
not very risky, but one could continue to see upward progress
and continued erosion in the "bear" funds. However, I am starting
to see some weakness in the main indices (e.g. the S and P) so
we might be closer than I expect. Political views aside, there are
those who think that our leader might be in trouble sooner than later
and no question in my mind that a serious challenge to his presidency
could cast a pall on the market.
By the way, the dollar index just hit below its 200 day moving
average for the first time in about 5 months, and with some firming
in the metals, oil, and the CRB, albeit modest, we may start to see
some signs of inflation. I can imagine that the establishment, given
only the alternative between inflation and deflation would without
a doubt, choose the former.

Regards

Dan
