TMAC: Thanks for that update. If memory serves, there was a
spate of publicity when Berkshire Hathaway threatened to breach
the $10,000 price point on the NYSE. Seemingly, no computer
programmer had ever imagined a stock selling at that stratospheric
level, and the NYSE reportedly scrambled to readjust the software.
As an aside, with Berkshire Hathaway Class A shares presently
changing hands at $69,400, that $10,000 per share price now
can be reckoned as a singular bargain.

Here is a link to the story on the Dow 10K problem. As problems go, there are worse ones to have and I'm hoping we have to confront this one in the not too distant future.
