Excellent point Phil!

Also, consider this:

If you were Bill Clinton, and you still had the same level of interest in Apple Corporation as you do now, would you not jump at the chance to spend the weekend with Steve'o and quiz him on what is going on behind the scenes? I'll bet my friend Tubby knows all of Apple's plans into the year 2000! And, odds are that he was there to get one of those new Wall Street laptops to give to his lovely wife, Hillary. His sweet daughter has to use a Thinkpad like Steve'o.

I know I'm naive, but it seems to me it might be tacky of Jobs to try to sell Clinton on buying Macintoshes, in any direct way, if he invited him because he's a fan of Clinton's and wanted to help him visit with his daughter. I am not sure that Clinton could be directly involved in the issue of what kind of computers the government buys. I just don't know, though. Does anyone know?

Of course, having tons of flashing Macs around the house, and in Clinton's bedroom might not hurt...
