Pete, rate hikewith this Fed I don't know. A prudent banker would have hiked long ago to cool the inflation in the financial mkts I guess these guys are afraid to be blamed for a severe decline. Well I have news for these guys this mkts going down regardless of their policy -its a question of do they want to see even more destruction by abdicating their responsibility to "take away the punch bowl" . I expect to see some violent moves this year there will be tough love fer de bulls. My guess is de Fed is all talk they hope the mkts will cool down on their own but they should know better. Wall St will clear cut until the forest is bare and a whole generation learns the lessons learned by previous generations. The public has been suckered and there is no way out of the Ponzi scheme but big losses. BTW see the latest Forbes about stock options accounting scam. Will spoke of this 18 mos. ago Mike
