I thought this company had the turnover problem under control. I just got back from the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO) in San Francisco. At the conference I happened to meet Dr. Xinqiao Wang, who the company listed as the Manager of R&D in the 1998 Laser Focus World Buyer's Guide. According to Dr. Wang's conference badge, he is no longer at SLI. What I find disturbing about this is all of the personnel mentioned in the link below are no longer with the company. I don't know if these people have been replaced and if they have been replaced, I don't know if the replacements are as qualified. I know who are the key personnel (and their qualifications) at other laser diode manufacturers. lfw.com
