You should have heard the complaints by the users! I could have built some assumptions into the application so that only 2 digits would be needed to be entered, but since it is a Year 2000 Program Management application, we needed to bonk people over the head that it is Y2K compliant, ergo the 4 years. But, oh, the complaints!
