William this is definitely very significant. What we have here is T new CEO Mr. Armstrong who is a proven go getter. He had no connections with any networking vendors of the past and owed nothing to anybody, neither to CSCO or LU etc .He came into T to kick some butt and he is doing it.He found out rapidly that NN has the best solutions and bought into them.It will be only a question of time before the other Bells get in with NN if they don't want to be left behind. This IS what we've all been waiting for for 3 years, GG, IMHO,

My Amati modem will be replaced with a MainstreetXpress 27020 ADSL Modem and Newbridge will become synonymous with
high-speed access in the minds of investors.

Bill --

Earlier I'd assumed any NN DSL solution that fell under MainStreetXpress would be Siemens-based, but today I learned differently. NN has, indeed, been developing DSL on its own and the 27020 is theirs. I don't know whose chips they're using but I have some pretty good resources who've said they'll ask around.

Some NN ADSL pages:
newbridge.com

newbridge.com

newbridge.com

Do you know anything about their DSL?

Later --
