Duncan, the only veggie burgers I have actually bought at Costco are GARDENBURGERS!!!! Now I believe X and her family really love these, but I know that I threw a whole bunch away. If I am going to eat a soy burger, I would like it to taste a little like the original cow flesh which I am now avoiding because of E-coli, mad cow disease, and my loving memories of all the calves I petted during my childhood.

Are you talking about the Green Giant soy burgers? My husband has asked me to try them, based on the reasoning that Green Giant is a mainstream, quality brand and would not market a product that tasted like sawdust/smoke/flavoring/finely ground sprouts. Have you ever tasted them? I am quite curious.
