It has happened so many times on biotech companies. A good news release with a respected scientist as the researcher. The stock shot to the roof and in a matter of a week it comes back to earth. Example: Premier Laser with that laser machine for painless tooth filling etc. Biolase, same principle. The small folks are the last one to get in figuring not to miss the train. But then BOOM, the stock collapses. ENMD might be a good company, but how many times does it have news releases? The stokc goes up based on the news. Look at PFE (Pfizer), the stokc keeps climbing because of Viagra. Then everyday we get the news on viagra: number of prescription, number of people helped, tonight show etc. That helps PFE stock. Now compare that to ENMD. The latest news release is warning about years away to be in human testing. If you want to compare to the competitor, look at Agouron (AGPH), which has clinical trials Phase II/III, much ahead than ENMD, yet trading at only 38. On top ot that AGPH drug is taken orally instead of being injected. Right now Entremed is on mice stage, and you know how many times drugs are effective on mice and useless on human. Don't bet your grocery money on this puppy.

<<Is it possible that this stock is being accumulated in small blocks
by people with cancer or who know people with cancer. (about
250,000,000 potential investors. As these shares are removed from
those available to short (in cash accounts). Shares become harder
to short. >>

Would become apparent on monday's settlement day...am thinking with float 6 million, shorts have enough room to maneuver without outright buy-ins like ktel had....cannot imagine anyone going long in size at these prices...margin calls should start coming in as well soon for deeply submerged longs...
