Louis, you're ability to identify a metaphor is truly impressive (yes Lou, it's called a metaphor. BTW, remember the "ph" is pronounced as an "f").

As far as "paper trades" go, in the words of Jim Cramer: remember that stocks are pieces of paper.

And what's up with the "Sheesh" thing? Are you stuck in a time warp or something? The Ike years perhaps? Forget what I said about going to bed earlier. Try to get out a little more and get a taste for what we call "1998 here on Planet Earth" (I hope that doesn't come as a surprise to you; yes, Lou, it's the 1990's). IMHO, you'll find it's just peachy keen, maybe even neato!
