(OFF TOPIC) In order to close a short position you need to buy the stock.

The problem is there isn't any stock available. KTEL is going up because the original longs inflated the price, which was easy to do because there was only a couple of million shares available. Everyone jumped on in the begining and then the shorts stepped in. Once the short-term traders unloaded the stock the original buyers probably increased their purchase knowing that the shorts thought the game was over and the price was coming down to reality. Now the longs have pulled in the reins and the shorts can't find stock to buy unless the longs sell.

I couldn't join the game because the longs and shorts are probably very even right now. Too bad, the stock fell 10 points from my order.

The newsletter HYPING the stock is long and probably behind the whole deal. It's very dangerous to short a stock with such a little float.
