People may have a difficult time justifying PNLK at even $25 per share right now, but try to justify KTEL at $50 per share! Consider Ktel's overhead, product, competition and profit margin. They actually have to buy a product, box up a product and ship it, after they sell it, before they can "show me the money". PNLK has a very short path to the "show me the money" phase of their business.

That should be our battle cry here: "show me the money"!

The date is closing in on the opening of their web site, I can almost smell the cybercash!

Yes, thanks for clearing that up. When we had our own web site analyzed by a program called Webtrends, I think, most pages registered about 6 hits due to the number of graphics, counters, etc on the html file. So, a single visitor can elicit an average of 5-10 hits per page visited.

It would be very interesting if PNLK ran a traffic analysis program on their web site's log file to check out the number of unique visits and length of time that each visitor stayed on the site. Analysis of the log-file will also give you a breakdown of visitors from countries other than the United States. This way, we will be able to see the global penetration that word of mouth and their mailings have generated thus far. Releasing the results of the analysis to the general public would give a better view of the traffic that has visited the site.

Regards,
Peter

Thanks, jacksoo, for pointing that out. I agree with Peter that a WebTrends analysis (or some other analysis) would be useful to help clarify the numbers. I've heard "hits" defined a number of ways, including as page views, but you're right to be far more cautious in assessing this news than I was.
