Am now short the futures

Short position was established at 1116+

Long position was closed out at that level resulting in a breakeven trade

why dont you wait to sell the oex put on the spread until we hit your bottom target!!!

but remember
to keep it covered you have to keep the long put...which will go down in value as time erodes and the market goes back up...

what is your thinking with what you are trying to do
one way to do it if you think we have hit the bottom
is

sell the higher strike
buy the lower srike for protection
