Hello Joseph,

I was going to wait until July before commenting. By then I would have expected a public news release and market reaction.

1. Currently, inactive status exists until mid-May. Only then can news be released.

2. The hiring of more geologists took place earlier in the year. Could someone living in the Vancouver area visit the offices to see how it is coming along and report back on the internet.

3. Geodex appears to be receiving property submissions. I thought that the
availability of cash and the potential of a relatively strong stock
price would be required. I assume then, that the other firms are
confident the acquisition terms will be met financially by Geodex.

4. On site:www.stockscape.com, I believe only news releases related to
resident newsletters are available. For those who subscribe to this
site, which newsletter is following Geodex at this early stage?

5. John Kaiser will be in Vancouver, June 14 & 15, at the Robson
Square Conference Centre. Could someone ask him about Geodex
and the status of Chimborazo? The first option year expires on
July 7/98.

At this stage Joseph, before questions about dilution and financing
are entertained, lets hope that any property acquisitions are more
than just "geologically interesting".

The two geologists under contract are in addition to the three full-time geologists.

Often after rollbacks the price will drop. In Geodex's case, the price has not dropped below Agate's previous low. The increase in price sensitivity may convince new investors that if prices are to rise, they will do so faster than was possible with Agate. The capacity to absorb overhead supply may concern some investors.

The best of luck to the geologists and all investors.

ATTENTION JOSEPH AND OTHERS ON THE INTERNET:

My apologies on incorrect information originating with me. No new geologists were hired at the office. I'm glad nothing was traded on this information, and will listen to news releases from now on. Since I provide my real name and have some responsibility on the internet, I had to post this message immediately.

The four negative comments on April 23 were unusual, all occurring on the same day. I feel management is doing the best they can. In a previous message, I outlined their qualifications which speak for themselves well.

The past 18 months has seen various uncontrollable events occur for many junior mining firms. This has nothing to do with management. Frustrations are felt throughout the industry by people. This is understandable, but to label people negatively for no reason?

Rollbacks do indicate that the principals have hope and are willing to put in the effort to make the firm a success. I still hold my shares, and as long as management is trying their best, it is good enough for me.

Since last September I have posted favorable comments regarding technical analysis. It may seem to some to be overextended and thus brought into question. Also, I do own shares and so a perceived bias could be implied. But even ignoring the above does not change what I am interpreting. Mike made a good comment, basically, if evidence seems contrary why does TA indicate favorable circumstances? I tried to explain that some indicators form on expectations. These may or may not be met, but people will always speculate and this action will, at times, be identified by TA.

Comments are welcome.

Joseph,

Tentatively, there is a news release planned for the latter half of June regarding acquisitions and initial financing for them.

I wish optimism would return to the junior market later in the year when, if things go well, a larger financing will occur. Many factors will determine the extent of any dilution. People are still worried about the senior market later in the year; this, plus reluctance to invest in juniors due to low commodity prices and so forth, will have an impact for all juniors in 1998.

I don't feel management is ducking the shareholders. They can't release insider information until a public news release occurs. Thus the answers to questions may appear general in nature. Properties in Chile and Mexico were, and still are under consideration, but this is general knowledge.

The firm's business definition is on file with regulators.
