The appointment of Brimmer and the modestly positive earnings announcement seemed to produce a nonevent for the stock. I haven't listened to the conference call, but 1% for SSS doesn't inspire confidence that management has found a way to grow and sustain the company beyond new openings. And the failure to appoint a "real" President/COO doesn't lay the management questions to rest. Since a lot of shares changed hands without much net movement in the stock price, it looks like many used the announcement to lighten up. My guess is that the stock price movement will be flat to down from here.
