Oops. After reading 10,000 people explaining the ObjectSupportLib issue, I feel silly for that generic post. Oh well.

Frustrating thing:
Many application installers still install ObjectSupportLib on 8.x.

Adam: You had me LOL about your insight about MS having pioneered the Installer problem and then pioneered fixing it. Too funny.

Yes, I have come to the same conclusion that I have dragged SOMETHING from 7.6.1 that is causing these problems. I just don't know what, yet. It's a big big headache. I'll do some more troubleshooting tonight. Thanks for the encouragement.
