Well this is my cake, err take on how to deal with the mutt..
You treat it just like the gappa strategy, you place a buy order above the morning high, If it takes it out the mutt runs like a hound.
Its now at 11, there is short covering, the question is WHY? And to think I sold @ 9 1/2 yesterday! BLEH! <where you going with that gun joe?>
