Even though Cramer has an ego the size of a small barn, and tends to ramble in his articles about himself and his wife, his web site based service called the.street (TSC) does periodically have very informative articles. This site also puts out educational material about the market and in particular the options market (Cramer's favorite) that is worthwhile to read. Cramer himself has been getting better and more focused, and he is in the process of hiring in more journalists which will also help to further his worldwide coverage to the news they report on. I think it is his goal to leverage the Internet not only in the sales aspect of his business, but also help him provide news coverage that he could not provide as readily in other ways by having to open up international offices in place of journalists working from their home and corresponding with TSC over the Internet.

However, there are some people, particularly day traders, that do not find enough relevant news come out in a timely way to meet their needs. So I do not think this site is for everyone. But the news that TSC does provide I find not as available from other sources. They seem to write about what would matter to the trader and investor along with their interpretation of events. I like the way Cramer writes about the "inside" view that he has to the markets. I think the orientation his job provides him as a hedge fund manager helps him provide with his editor this type of news to his readership.

So I find TSC another viable option for the trader and investor in their search for worthwhile, timely, and affordable news that relates to the markets. I see breifing.com as the best in this category, and use TSC as a suppliment type of read just like the way I use Barrons for instance as a key source of weekly market news and Worth magazine as a very worthwhile suppliment of a different sort of source for news. By the way, for those who are interested, Worth has a web site that does include a copy of the current issue of their magazine including access to archives of past issues.

One must have his tools and resources to make money in the markets!

Bob Graham

Hi Chris,
What do think of NSCP? Still at the buy level? Thank you!
