Micron has designed chipsets before. Actually quite good. In fact MU motherboards under the name Micronics are outstanding. As far as DELL using INTEL only, that is true but for processors only. They have their motherboards made and I don't think they care too much about INTEL vs MU or others for that matters, but this is just my opinion, not based on anything they said.

Hope you covered your PUTS this morning. You of course had a good chance to buy back this afternoon. Nice selloff again this afternoon...I think 33 will be a tough nut to crack.<g>

I am all for SLDRAM, Rambus will be forced on the PC community with premiums and royalities that are not necessary.

It's worth noting that the first generation SLDRAMs give you 800MB/s, which is the same throughput as today's 64-bit wide 100Mhz SDRAM. DRDRAM is more ambitious at 1600MB/s/chip.
