SW - I own shares in MediaOne Group (UMG). Sorry to clutter the thread with off-topic posts...but this is one to watch (or buy). They are completing the split from USWest this summer and many have speculated that they will be ripe for a takeover/merger at that time. Although their relations with TimeWarner had been contentious (they own 25% of TWX, I believe), things seem to be better now. MediaOne Express and RoadRunner are being combined, new services are getting rolled out. AirTouch and USWest will be unloading a bunch of debt from UMG...things look good enough so that even JF might short them. That's a sure buy signal if there ever was one. The thread is pretty quiet these days, but there's lots of good info from back when IKM was posting on it. Cheers...
