Monty, I understand what you are saying. Say you have 10 files, all zipped to myzip.exe and you upload the myzip.exe to the remote server. When I double click on myzip.exe (or type myzip at DOS prompt) on the remote server, it gets EXECUTED on my computer, not on the server. The extraction process requires data transfer between the remote disk (where myzip.exe now exists) and my CPU. The medium of transfer between them is the phone line. That is, the file I sent will come back to me and then unzipped before writing the 10 files on the director where I placed the myzip.exe.

Am I missing something?
