No, I'm not. Apparently, from posts by Zip Plus owners on Usenet who talked with Iomega, if the drive is past warranty, you are "S--- Out of Luck." If one has had the drive for this long and paid with cash, then there is a good chance that the store receipt no longer exists. The only recourse would be to deal with Iomega itself.

The following example is by no means extraordinary:

A Zip plus owner, who paid cash and lost the receipt, has been using it mainly on a PP port Windoze computer with no problem. The warranty expires. But now, he/she has SCSI devices he/she has bought that SHOULD work with a Zip Plus- but don't. Isn't there a problem with the Zip Plus' labeling and specs when he/she purchased? And wouldn't this be tatamount to false advertising? If this depends on which State one is in, please just use your State as an example. Thank you very much.
