Yes it does happen. But, I'll stand on my reasoning for the resistance level. While there are many who bought at that time, there are many who bail as soon as they realize their mistake. You may be correct in that there are sellers at this level that bought at that time. But the strength of the resistance between 29 and 30 is due to the tendency for the shorts to leap into action as the stock approaches its 52 week high. Neither of us can prove our point, so I'll concede the validity of your argument, if you'll reciprocate. But... you need to buy AAPL now. Your faithful advisor, HerbVic
