Assuming you want to know the lowest priced MB. US or worldwide? MB manufacturers a subcompact (involved in a recent infamous recall) for the European market. I believe the price is approximately $17K USD. In the US market, the C class starts at about $31K USD.

"Then there is the so-called Smart car, which is being built by Daimler but is not -- and never will be -- a Mercedes. The product of a joint 81%-19% joint venture between the German company and SMH AG, the Swiss maker of Swatch watches, the car is a tiny two-seater designed for city use. It is not expected to ever sell in the U.S., but the German price will be as low as DM14,000, about $8,000."

Do you think you wind it up? : )

Honda Natural Gas vehicle and MB merger Chrysler.
Ballard should merge with VW while the new Volkswagons are hot.

""Honda Civic has a driving range of 200 miles or more depending on driving conditions. The vehicle burns compressed natural gas, stored in Lincoln's TUFFSHELL(TM) tank and exhausts only 1/10th of
the emissions allowed by the California Air Resource Boards Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle (ULEV) requirements. This vehicle is an example of Honda's leadership in engine design.

Honda will individually mount the 18-inch diameter by 37-inch long tanks in the trunk of the vehicle. The tanks will be used on vehicles built in Honda's East Liberty, Ohio plant and sold in the US market. Some of the vehicles will be exported for sale in Japan. ""
