It's interesting to read that Nextel is getting in line with competition.

I just switched Cellular services and could not believe the deals out there. Nextel, at the normal rates, could not compete. However if Bernie's info proves to be accurate, Nextel can easily compete with strictly cellular companies. That would put Nextel solidly in all communication markets.

That is good news, however, it won't do anything for the stock. Investors are presently being exposed to rapid market growth elsewhere. Companies that show rapid growth in earnings per share, or companies that gather a great amount of market publicity seem to be the pide piper for investors. Nextel isn't quite there yet, as good as it is.

It's fun, but I am willing to admit, I invest for money, fun never paid any of my bills, or funded a savings plan.
