What do you think about NN's announcement about the deployment of NN's
GSMP in AT&T's New Service? Do you think Ascend competes with NN in this
contract and NN has defeated Ascend? Why does AT&T select NN for this
contract?

AT&T has given us the heads-up that they will be deploying the CBX500 beginning in June or July of this year. Nothing I have heard has changed that. Strangely, I don't remember seeing or hearing anything about the GX550, and I suspect that AT&T has chosen Newbridge for their core ATM switches. Can't win them all.

AT&T is an enormous organization and it doesn't surprise me at all that they have multiple ATM networks. Other telcos do the same. So no, it doesn't jeapordize ASND.
