Scott IBM's new mainframe server has a "G5 inside"

Good post reminding us of AAPL's (MacWorld) 1/6/98 performance upward on over 16 mln shares . Think Phil is right about tomorrow's upward bias .

Appreciate your comment on the bondholders and am glad it helped .

If Senor Jobs covers AAPL's coming 64 bit PowerPC G4 he can also refer to IBM's G5 announcement :

" The 900-Mips performance of each R6 node is
derived from 10, 124-Mips processors, factoring in
latency. That doubles the power of the current G4
processor ..."

Poor Wintel loving shorts . Should be nervous being they are on margin - requirements might be tightened before AAPL implodes .

Thanks and regards,
