I'm thinking of doing more daytrading. What Level II screen would you guys recommend and what are the monthly fees. I've been told that you can't follow bulletin board stocks on Level II, is this true? I think what stocks you follow on Level II depend more on which exchanges you are subscribed to. NYSE stocks have an odd form of Level II, so I would imagine that BB Stocks also have something...there are many NASDAQ stocks under $5 per share that have many market makers on the Bid/Ask, if that is the new definition of a BB stock... Some of us daytrade with Cybertrader...they have a separate thread for the product. It would be defined as high-end. Powerful computer, ISDN or Frame Relay directly to Cybercorp, and awesome execution system. But, you need $50K in capital, and you probably need to go to a local Block office and learn the art of scalping first...fees are $19.95 per trade (plus execution taxes, usually works out to about $23.00). Feeds are free if you do so many trades per month...not sure how many that is... Or, you can go to their web site: cyber-corp.com and check out the product for yourself...

I have CyberCorp that I find to be terrific it lacks news feed but that is coming. I have no capacity for BB stocks but that is probably better for me given my propensity for Risk. I do not know of the other Level II services with regards to BB. Level II is cost on the basis of trading and varies from place to place. Lots of info on this thread about competing services.
