My estimate of $2.00 is loosely based on the consensus of what we know *now*. Over the next week, after Jobs articulates AAPL hard/software strategies, I think we'll see some serious (qual/quantitative) analyst revisions of AAPL's prospects.

And I don't think it will be downward.

BTW, I just got a Camu-like sense of being. As in look what we're doing -- communicating/sharing ideas to each other even though we live in different parts of the world as if it were the most ordinary event. Amazing.

Well, Alomex, you haven't done so well predicting earnings
so far. I think we will see about 0.47 next but 0.75 or more
thereafter, with possibilities of heading into the $1 range
per quarter for 1999.

And, don't you still owe me a bottle of wine for incorrectly
betting me that Apple wouldn't post a profit this past quarter?
