Hi Doc, How are we doin so far?? Almost a double since our telephone conversation. I'm now talking a little higher up the food chain. I've been told there is a group of investors from San Jose that are buying up shares to $6.00 or EEE whichever comes 1st. I'm told there is a second OEM announcement after EEE....any guesses???

You're welcome, Doc.

You make me realize that I place a lot of faith in patent law to protect the Wave's edge. I hope I'm not being naive.

I think I'm about tapped out on the technical questions. Maybe someone with some genuine expertise could chime in. For technological vision, Steven Sprague's every post is worth re-reading.

There are a couple of key details that are important.

1. Wave can aggregate transactions on the meter. This means that instead of giving a cab drive .20 per 1/5 of a mile you pay at the end of the trip. Imagine the transaction cost if every 20 sec you had to throw 2 dimes in the front seat and get a receipt on your way to JFK. This is true for all forms of media. Especially the accounting for offline advertising.

2. Execution protection requires pinging a trusted system every few seconds to ensure that you have a non pirated copy. This can't be done on the net so the software is not secure. This is the achilles heal of the software only solutions. You cant afford to send out 1 million copies of software and discover a patch the next day on the net.

3. Privacy A meter can easily be anonymous it is hard for an online system to e this way.

4. Severs will not scale to general media distribution. The goal is to be the subscriber management system for all forms of content in the PC Content companies want to be media companies and the Wave meter can help them to transition from CDs and DVDs today to broadband in the future.

Hope this help explain the advantage of the meter
