between 14 and 18, not go to
15 1/2 and then back down, sad grin ...

I agree that being labeled a Y2K company isnt helping. Also, being
in the DeJager index creates a secondary trading influence such that
when the index sells off the pieces (ISLI, VIAS, etc.) get sold off
as part of the index. I wish they werent in this index but when the
extent of this problem is fully recognized then maybe we will be glad
there is an index. Who knows. I posted on the IBM thread a blurb
about a mainframe announcement tomorrow. I mentioned a feature that
the Symphony G5 machine will have that flags in an error log Y2K
problems. It is not a bad feature but it only identifies certain
problems and is not a fix or total solution so, though it may get
hyped, it is not going to impact anything ISLI does or have any
negative effect on their bottom line and in fact, may actually help
in the sense that services are then required to go in and fix the
problem. So I hope the team at ISLI reviews this announcement and
understands how they can take advantage of it.
