Waiting for any activity by Teck Exploration Ltd of Canada and MM Gold Pty. Ltd. of Australia regarding the Mirih project. The property is a good gold prospect. Teck has to spend 500K $US this year. 2.5 mil in the next two years. Hope that they will drill some holes soon.

Too bad that POG does want to move above the $320-330 level to bring some life into the gold junior plays. Last Friday's events, when three news services quoted incorrectly an Belgian official and POG plummeted, show that every trick is good to keep POG low. I remain bullish because of the Y2K. My bet is that the Wall Street suspenders will have to run for cover sooner or later this year and Gold will be the King.

Another factor is the political situation in Indonesia. No idea what can transpire here. Anyway, mining and exploration is important source of revenue for the governmental bodies and 'buddies'. Eg. Freeport property in the Indonesian part of New Guinea is a hell of a cash cow.

Have some other Indonesian juniors. Some of them will survive the bad times. The 1996 gold rush was NOT the last one in Indonesia. There is plenty of gold and other goodies there. Local labour is dirt cheap now and bribing maybe not so expensive.

Anyway, it cannot get much worse. But they have to start drilling.

I know a person who has never had a bad holiday, the vehicles that he buys are trouble free....because he does not want to be made fun of and would let his friends or another person get shafted rather than say...Hey....I went there or bought that vehicle and this is what happen to me.

I'm not like that...if I get it up the ass...I'll tell everybody who is thinking of doing what I did what happen to me...good or bad.

SHF has incompetent management and have said this for a long time even before his true colors came through.

Before anyone puts one red cent into this company...get informed...don't talk to IR at SHF...they will paint a glowing picture... I really think that Bob Chase is very very qualified to sell swamp land in Florida...who knows maybe he will say there's gold there to.

Ronald,

SHF was/is my biggest loss ever. On paper I was wiped out.
Hoping for some activity so I can move what is left. Management
has been deathly quiet.

Political situation in Indo is my biggest concern short term.
Hope to hear something/anything soon.

My question is what happened to looking elsewhere? Mexico, South America. This is the main reason I hung in there. I think we have a little cash left ( a hell of alot more than the average JM), why not
get to work on new prospects?

S.
