"Sat there all day with him, watching level II, and all I can say is, the numbers are stacked against TAVA, at the moment."

Josef,

I am impressed. I also watched the Level II on TAVA all day but I came away feeling pretty good about the way things ended up. Guess I'm not as clever as you two. Perhaps you or TM could enlighten us mere mortals as to just what it was you saw that has you convinced that TAVA is headed into the toilet.

Bruce

Josef - How can one tell by looking at Level 2 ask numbers whether the stock being offered was borrowed for shorting?

I think that the situation for TAVA is totally different from CMND.

Unless some of the biggies all of a sudden give up one million shares, TAVA will sustain. Indeed, I have many friends watching from the side waiting to buy more TAVAs including myself.

As for consistency, I think TAVA is doing pretty good comparing to some of TM's recent picks. Some of his picks can go up and down for more than 100% in one day. And TAVA has become pretty predictable.
I recently set limit prices higher than the asking to sell some of my trading shares. And they were gone almost in one blink.

Without option trades available, TAVA is a very dangerous short. I have high confidence on this company. Actually, a little short interest keeps the stock price healthy. I don't like to see TAVA to fluctuate like TM's picks.

Dear most humble one: I tend to agree with you and Joe, however dont think it will be that extreme. If we really want to mess up the shorts just present a stiff upper lip, stand fast and BUY on dips. Thats what I intend to do. JDN

from my Nanchate friend over at the Motley Fool:

5-8-98

I just got off the phone with Scott Liolios of TAVA IR. He told me expectations on earnings have been lowered earlier by Hannifin to .01 cent and we will be hearing news tomorrow concerning another lowering of estimates from Emerald who will also be lower earnings estimates to .01 cent. Scott was not concerned with this lowering and he said those looking at the bigger picture also shouldn't be concerned. TAVA had come out in the past stating clearly that they would not hit .04 cents. But Scott added that TAVA has FAR surpassed its own expectations for the amount of contracts and the caliber of clients they have made. He believes the conference call will be very positive. I believe once the real word is out to the greater public concerning Y2K and embedded chips and what TAVA does and who they do it with TAVA will be named as a leader in the Y2K industry. The first mention of TAVA today on CNBC was also in positive light and was nice to see.

Earnings will be announced next Tuesday, but don't expect any news to come out of TAVA until after earnings have been announced. I also spoke with Scott concerning Logic Systems the acquired division of ATEC which is also in the Y2K field. He was unaware of them and appreciated the "heads up". Scott said from the info I sent him that there is no clear statement about Logix performing an embedded chip fix.
I spoke with Logix this afternoon and spoke with the Director in charge of Y2K fixes for PC's. He was aware of TAVA but didn't have much info concerning the embedded chip end of their business other than the fact it was a "very new area" for them. He mention to me at length the seriousness of embedded chips since they are "very close to us". He said the embedded chip problem is much larger than many realize. They have someone working with Logix who actually designed embedded chips in the past and is very aware of the real problem as well as the far reaching effects. I am still waiting for a call back from the Director of Embedded Chips for Logix. The interesting fact is that both Logix and TAVA are located in Colorado. I wanted to know if the remediation advice they give is a TAVA fix or if they have their own. Those questions will be answered when she returns my call.
The world is in dire need of a Y2K fix and only 1 1/2 years remain to do it. The reason the last press release client wanted to remain unknown is that they didn't want to let everyone know where they were at concerning a Y2K fix and how much it is costing them until the fix is done. They didn't want to appear incompetent I guess. I mentioned the fact it looked like it must be KO, and Scott said many may speculate on who they believe it may be, but in actual fact it doesn't matter who it is, rather the fact that the work is being done. I believe the know list of TAVA clients speaks for itself. Fortune 500 companies obviously have their confidence in TAVA.
