This is true.. HOWEVER, as the price gets higher.. the MM's normally
will NOT want to risk a call from the xfer agent in a validation
of shares held by a request of the company...

If you were SHORT a stock and knew you could short shares that
were not held in cert form.. how high would you let the stock go
before you got worried and went ahead and covered your shares.. me

if I was short at 60cents (I've NEVER shorted).. if it got to 70 or
75cents.. that'd be enough of a loss for me that I'd go ahead and
buy to cover.. why risk the stock going to $1.00 and then next thing
you know the cerst are called in .. or the xfer agent calls the
MM's to get cert #'s or something and then the shorts really get
screwed..
