<<I looked at ARTS on monday. At one point the bid was 22 1/8 and the ask
was 22 3/4. What is going on when a stock has such a big spread? How do
you find a buying point?>>

ARTS got some nice earnings upgrades on first call today as did MODT and PEGS. I am in all three.

These days spread is not that big a deal to me, in fact I like these big spread stocks because with new nasd regulations I can buy at the bid or 1/16 above and sell at offer. I have done this for very nice profits on some stocks with spreads of a dollar or more many times, and very quickly flipping for a buck sometimes. The key here is to place limit orders, not all or none. market makers have to reflect your bid/offer.

Anyone catch that KELL breakout near close, I am in.
