NOPE. Mr. Delorean is a smart, yet stupid guy. We could argue forever about the cocaine/setup deal, but it also might tell me at what lengths a person/CEO would go to to get cash or finance their own company to keep it going. He would try to find any way to make it work, else he could just take his personal fortune and RUN. I do admire him for trying to make it work, but i don't like at all the way he tried to do it....... BUT like i said, we could argue forever about the guy's judgement, this decision he made, and the guy's overall CHARACTER. He is not alone by any means, he is just the biggest. What about the guy that owned the L.A. kings Hockey team - Bruce McNall, or the co-founder of Phar-mor, Mickey Mantas ?? Or the founder of ZZZZZBest carpet cleaners ?? (remember him ??). Those guys are out and out crooks. People are indicted all the time.
I don't think i would have an interest in buying the delorean company, so what i might think about delorean as a CEO is immaterial.
Delorean had the right car at the wrong time in history, IMO.
I know I don't have the Cajungas to start my own car company, do you ?? he didn't NEED to do it, but he tried. I hope most people simply agree there are a lot of good arguments both ways here.
