Thanks, Amots and Instigator. The bluish tinge or halo and difficulty with blue-green color discrimination is the only visual problem that I have heard about. Occurs in 3% of patients at the recommended doses, reversible as the drug wears off and no permanent effect at least for the time interval involved in the original study. Long term follow-up needed, of course.

Headache is the most common side effect, 16% at recommended doses, described by Pfizer as "mild", described by Time Mag. as "blinding".
