Read this important paragraph taken off of Business Wire

"We looked at the combination of resources, human and financial, and we decided to continue on the path we're on now," said Barak Berkowitz, vice president of marketing at Infoseek. "We looked long and hard at a deal with Netscape, but we have other things on the table."

Key sentence here folks!!!! "WE HAVE OTHER THINGS ON THE TABLE"

Like I said before Infoseek will sign a deal on their terms. IMHO Netscape was not a good deal for excite

Seek wouldn't do a bad deal! That's why they have Motro! If they were interested in doing a bad deal they would've payed that joke Netscape 75 million! Patience and you will surely be rewarded

Yes, I agree we have talent in SEEK, but would you have called the deal bad last week, before we knew who was getting it? It doesn't seem anyone on this thread started questioning the deal until (a) XCIT got it, and (b) XCIT stock dropped. I just want to make sure we're being intellectually honest....
