Thean, I think Teddy is actually Richy Rich. He just plays around all day in his mansion and moves mkt for fun. (ggg)

Hey Teddy! come clean, what do you do for a living and how old are you. FESS UP!!!

Bonds lower again today??? mmmm? yield pushing back up toward 6% mmmm? currently 5.975

<<<I don't think you should add to your STOSY position or try to time when the turnaround will happen. It is a lot harder to time when Asia will recover. My latest communication with relatives back in Malaysia say the government is near broke trying to bail out banks etc. However the people are still rich and they still eat out in restaurants frequently like nothing has happened. >>>

Thean: confirms to me that Asia is a long way from turning around. If people aren't cutting back yet, then they're living in denial and haven't hit bottom. are your relatives and their friends worried at all about the situation in Indonesia?? Looks to get ugly over there. If something goes bad, their oil production will likely stop and prices will rise.

RE: two questions about cost of living in MA

1. How much does it cost to have a paperboy mow a lawn?
$20 minimum, could be as high as $50 if it is a really large yard with a lot of stuff to mow around. Hedges and anything else is extra.

2. How much is a Maine lobster or MA lobster currently? How's the crop this season?
They are very high now: at least $8 - $10 per pound for live lobsters. The clean up of Boston Harbor messed them up and Maine is having trouble because so many were caught in the last few years and it takes a wicked long time for them to grow.

There are lots of places that ship live lobsters Fed-X. Do you want me to get you some phone numbers?
