Shalom Nancy

Thank you for asking. It was wonderful to be mikvahed by our G-dly Rabbi. There were about 25 people including myself and to sons and the service was simple and full of prayer and praises for Yeshua. The service was like other Christian baptisims, the Rabbi asked us how we came to know Yeshua. Both my boys answered "G-dly Parents", thank you Yeshua, and then the Rabbi mikvahed us in the name of the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit. It was a real blessing to see so many, old and young alike being obedient to the example of our Messiah Yeshua. It was my second triple as my wife, oldest daughter and myself were baptized together a few years ago. Let us go up to Zion, let us draw near to the Lord our G-d.

As far as your other question, I don't think Chris would recognize The Apostle Paul, no such thing as a Christian Rabbi you know. Yeshua proclaimed liberty which to me allows a Jew to follow his traditions if he likes. Chris ridiculing this seems to me to minimize an important gift of the Messiah. Remember, Isaiah walked naked and barefoot for three years because of the Lords command. How pious and religious of him.

Shalom uv'rachah b'Yeshua HaMashiach my dear sister - L'Chaim DLL

PS Check out this web site that Thomas suggested, hopefortoday.org. The study of Mathew chapter one explains the Jewish roots of Messiah very well.
What do you think Emile and Chris, take time out and listen. I would love to hear you opinion.

>>What do you think Chris would say to Paul when he had Timothy circumcised or when he had his head shaved?<<

Can you tell me why he did this?
I can not believe you people argue about this day after day. You act as if Jew or Gentile has an advantage over one another when you know that ALL ARE THE SAME UNDER THE BLOOD OF JESUS!

Do you think that your traditions are going to draw you closer to heaven, when you should know that ALL THAT MATTERS IS THE CONDITION OF THE HEART.

Do you think that any one of us can claim superiority over another because we have the correct method to worship God?

There are IMO very many issues that are not salvation issues, and why argue over those day after day?

GOD SENT HIS SON TO DIE ON A TREE,
WHY DO THAT? FOR YOU AND FOR ME;
DO WE ARGUE OVER WHAT KIND OF TREE?
NO...WE ACCEPT...BOTH YOU...AND ME.

Folks the only agenda we should be pushing here is a God who so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that who ever believes in Him will not perish but have EVER LASTING LIFE. amen

(oh boy i can almost hear it now...."but you don't understand, what about my rights to yada yada yada......)
