Ispend more time viewing pages on SI than on all the SEs combined. If viewership determines value then we may be overestimating the share ses are going to have down the road.

Infoseek and iVillage--Focusing On Women... Here's the link to this morning's news... biz.yahoo.com Quick interpretation: Motro is building "content value" for SEEK... a very smart move. (His earlier remarks about "convergence" are indicators of where he's going... and where he's been.) Plus, he's playing a classic demographic card... much as anybody who's ever worked in television programming would. In this case, SEEK has a female skew to its numbers... I don't know the exact figures. So, he's enhancing that strength... This plus the WBS (younger demographic audience) purchase are very interesting developments... iVillage, obviously, less crticial, but nonetheless a good move. (Now we need some serious family-friendly and woman-focused advertisers to start filing in.) Best Regards, c m
