Strategies that I have used in the past did not involve following fund money. I have been in the process of developing a short term trading approach to the market which will utilize the following of the "big money" into sectors and stocks. I have followed others here at SI in a similar approach to see that they have been successful with what appears to be better returns and a higher hit rate on their short term trades. But I do not have the statistics yet to verify this. I have paper traded in this way to find positive results. I have followed stocks during different phases of a bull run to see the good relative strength exhibited by these stocks. I have not yet worked on an efficient way an tracking sector rotation yet.
