According to a few companies, the future is now. Some companies can already offer users high speed 400 kbps access to the Internet via a digital satellite system. That's 3 times faster than the fastest ISDN connection from your phone company. ISDN costs an average of $400 to start up, and an outrageous $250 bill will come to you every month. Satellite technology can considerably lower those costs. Since the technology is still at its infancy, I think it is the good time to focus on it. Cheers. Heather.
